Visit Us We would love to have you join us!

We know that it can be intimidating to visit a church worship service and not know what to expect. We've answered a few common questions here, but feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.

Where and When?

We use the church facilities of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church at 701 6th St. New Westminster. We meet at 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM on Sundays. We also worship on New Year's Day, Good Friday, Ascension Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve. Our worship services are usually around one hour long. We would love to have you join us.

Can I bring my children?

Yes, please do! We welcome and encourage children of all ages to be present and participate in the worship service. If you have young children, don't be afraid to bring them along. We also provide nursery care during both services for child(ren) 3 and under.

What is your worship service like?

Our worship is simple, yet rich in meaning and history; not ritualistic, but structured. We incorporate the elements of worship that are commanded and exemplified in Scripture such as Scripture reading, preaching, prayer, singing, giving, and celebrating the sacraments of baptism and the Lord's Supper. We celebrate the Lord's Supper on the first Sunday of every month.

Our worship is Word-centred, which means that we read from the Bible, hear the Bible preached, and sing songs that are saturated with biblical content.

Corporate worship is a conversation between God and His people. When His Word is read and preached, He is speaking to us; when we listen, sing, pray, and give, we are responding to Him.
